Location

Grandhome is located in Aberdeen, in the Bridge of Don suburb on the city’s north side.

The community is situated between many of Aberdeen’s most important centres of activity: the city centre is four miles to the south, and Aberdeen International  Airport is four miles to the north at Dyce. The Aberdeen Science and Energy Park is one mile away, and Old Aberdeen – home of King’s College – is two miles away, towards the city centre. Grandhome is also within the Energetica Corridor, which will see a series of interconnected energy and non-energy related developments extend from Aberdeen to Peterhead.

Grandhome is also close to the natural landscapes and amenities of Aberdeen. The site borders the green spaces along the River Don, and the community masterplan is designed to provide views into the open fields. The transport network also provides easy connections to the many trails and cycle paths along the river.

The wider Bridge of Don area is already home to retail development, community facilities and schools. Grandhome will add to these, with a high street, schools, civic buildings, parks and offices all located within the community, creating a new centre for north Aberdeen.
